Harbor Town Inn

Decided on a whim to drive 6 hours to see a Green Bay Packers game. We booked this room essentially because it was the only decently price place near the area, about 40 minutes from the stadium. I couldn't have asked for a better place to go. Easy to find, easy to check in, super friendly guy at the front desk. Made to order breakfast was yummy, hot and easy to fetch even though the place was pretty booked. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We spent less than 12 hours there all together but it was one of the highlights of our trip. I'm coming back if we ever decide to do it again!

Found this on a travel website and was surprised at the high evaluations for the hotel. Booked 2 rooms for a road trip based on that, and was not disappointed. Yes, the building is showing it's age, however the owners are obviously taking steps to overhaul it and make it nice, and that is definitely evident. We had a small snafu when checking in, but that was entirely our fault and the desk clerk was super helpful and accommodating. Ended up with what I think was a better room anyway for our traveling companions. The made-for-you breakfast was a neat feature, and they even called your room to let you know it was ready. Would recommend this place without reservation as it is clean, friendly staff, and a great price.

A diamond in the rough! A local hotel that has been renovated and I believe is now part of Best Western. Clean, cute decor, professional/kind/helpful staff, great price, safe, comfortable bed. The pillows were too tall/firm for us (my son and I slept flat on the bed instead), and the breakfast is made to order instead of buffet (which was a little inconvenient)… but I’m still going to give it five stars! They allow pets in first floor rooms, but I appreciated that they gave me a room on the second floor which they keep pet-free for people with allergies like me. Oh and we loved the expensive shuffleboard game in the game room! Would definitely stay here again:)

Overall, a very good hotel for a night or two. The bed was very comfortable, there was nothing visibly wrong at all. The breakfast was however a little odd, it was made to order and wasn’t super specific as to things. The shower has amazing water pressure, not a water conserving head. Overall, again, a very good hotel for a couple of nights.

Quiet hotel. Fairly clean (its a hotel, not our homes). Staff are INCREDIBLY personable and helpful. You order you breakfast the night before and specify what time you'd like it. They give you a paper slip to make your choices. Its a li.ited menu, but variety is nice. There are also cereals, baked goods, toast, and fruit available. Coffee is fresh and available 24hrs a day!

We stayed there 7/23/2025. We loved it. It's all remodeled and super cute! The lady at the check in was super nice. Our room was fantastic. Clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy. And we had continental breakfast like never before. When checking in, they hand you a menu with breakfast items on it. You get to pick out what you want in the morning. When you come down for breakfast, you give the attendant your room number, and they personally serve you what you picked out. They cook it fresh. We had cheese/bacon omelets, hash browns, waffles - it was really cool! Awesome service! We would stay there again for sure.

I stayed here recently for an event in Manitowoc. The hotel is right on the main drag as you come into town. The hotel feels like it was just updated. The thing to keep in mind with this place is value. As long as you understand that it's not the Four Seasons or the Days Inn, you're good. The booking experience was seamless. The staff is super friendly. The free breakfast is limited- you pick which basic breakfast sandwich you would like them to microwave for you and what time you plan to eat it. There is cold cereal, coffee, juice, and a little fruit to round it out. The rooms are clean, on the small side, and adequate. The A/C worked fine. The bed was clean, but too soft for my taste. Checkout was a breeze. Again, as long as you're not expecting the Four Seasons for $80 per night, you've got a clean, friendly place to spend the night with a basic breakfast in the morning.

This hotel is a hidden gem. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. It’s also a very short drive to Lake Michigan shoreline. My check in was quick and the front desk employees were really nice. The room was pleasantly clean including the linens. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I really liked that you can place your order the evening before including what time you wanted to eat. They have a nice patio area where you can eat if you are traveling with a dog. There is handicap parking close to the front lobby. There isn’t an elevator at this property so if climbing stairs is a problem, be sure to request a first floor room in your reservation. If I am ever back in the area I would stay here again.
